Can someone school me on this issue....I've seen them posted a few times and not really sure what the deal is...is it the MAF from a LT1 application such as the Impalla SS?.....and what is a translator?.....I have family in AC Delco so I guess I can get a pretty good deal(if I had the part #'s)....thanks, ...Glenn

The Delco MAF part numbers can be found with the search feature. MAF's available are LS1 and LT1 based I believe.

3" and 3.5" sizes.

The stock MAF uses a frequency range for the air flow, the newer ones use voltage control or current control hence the name Translator it literally translates the newer readings into older processable ones for our ECM's.

Extender chip doubles the air flow readings if used.

No delco numbers on the translator and translator + electronics because they were developed by aftermarket Buick performance people, ie. Bob Bailey. :)

See Mike L. at Full Throttle Performance for further information.

And he's away this week at Bowling Green so check back next week.

Great product for our cars. :)

Just a side note, when people say LT1, the first thing that usually comes to mind is the LT1 Camaros/Firebirds, but the LT1 MAF from those V8 applications are not on the list. I've heard they will work, but not recommended.
