i have an 87 MAF translator and LT-1 MAF sensor, there is one problem when i go to plug in the translator the two plug ends dont mesh is there and adaptor or do i have to splice a new end in?

The translator should have 2 connectors.
One should plug into the maf sensor.
The other plugs into the original maf harness connector.

it has the two connectors and the one that is supposed to plug into the factory harness doesnt work.

If I remember right, it will fit but you have to break off the retainer on the factory harness that holds the harnesses together.

If you call full throttle they might be able to tell you how to do this, so you get it installed correctly. I know there is a trick to it but don't remember.

sounds like you bought a translator off an LS1 guy... i did.

the ls1 translators dont fit the same and you have to get an adapter..

i made my own after calling ramchargers (at the time)
