MAF translator question

hello everyone, I am purchasing the MAF translator, and was wondering what vehicles I could find the required MAF sensor on. I would order one from Fullthrottle, however I can get the sensors cheaper through my work. Would a sensor from a 5.3l chev truck work, or does it have to be from a camaro or corvette? I am asking because a co-worker is parting out a 2003 chevy 1500, and I will grab the MAF it its going to work for me.
