I'm pretty new to the injection thing and am wondering if the alcohol will kill my maf since it's located directly in front of my throttle body. Are there any other options? Propane?

Also, will the injector timing permit any mixture to exit through the BOV when it opens?

With a proper water injection system I don't see how, but that is speculation on my part. With proper atomization, it really shouldn't be an issue.

The instant you snap OUT of the gas when in boost your 99.99999 % of the time in DFCO. Deccleration Fuel Cut Off, so the injectors are completely off till you open the throttle again or drop below 12 MPH.

Will the temperature of the mixture (esp. from liquid propane being atomized) affect the maf signal because it would cool the diodes down?

Also, would the maf be able to chemically withstand the alc/h2o?

- but isn't there still vapour in the up-pipe? I guess I'm worried that if alch/propane is used and the BOV is right on the up-pipe, there could be a potential fire somehow:eek:

If it cools things down you do want to report that to the engine.
It's water and alky. there is water vapor in the air all the time, and with WI your just talking about seconds.

It has to be a flamable mxture to be of any concern. Any vapor? sure at least 10 parts per Trillion.
Plus the engine is still using air.

There are a thousand potential fire causes in an EFI'd car.
With the injectors OFF how can there be any fumes?.
