Manual boost controler question????

I instaled a turbonetic manual boost controller i just whant to know how do i adjust my westgate realy loose or realy tight??? So the rod fully extended or at the shortest???

The wastegate rod needs some tension on it. Adjust it so that you have to pull it at least 1/8" to hook it on the arm.
