Melling (Delphi) lifters sold at Autozone - Made in the USA!

Went to Autozone and picked up a Melling JB-969 lifter for $3.69 . On the box is said "made in the USA" . Has ball check-valve and flat disc oil metering with wire retaining clip. The picture shows the two-part lifter body with the hardened foot, this is particular to Delphi lifters only. So it looks like for the time being, Melling is sourcing their lifters from Delphi.

That's fantastic, but...... If I'm not misaken, those lifter scome with a push rod cup that is sized for a larger push rod like the big block chevy's use. I had to "source" a set of old buick v6 lifters, to remove/clean the cups, and put them in the new lifters.

969 are replacements for all Buick, V8 and V6.

Cool, so they have the correct cup size?.

They look like it to me, I didn't do any measuring.
I would hope they would sell us a part that would be compatible if it were listed for our application.
