motor rebuild advise

Well i spun a bearing again in my motor, and its coming out.... im going to build it this time..... i dont have the money for a girdle.. but i plan on getting the front 3 steel main caps. my question is it neccessary to have the rear cap?? just asking because they are pretty pricey.

You really only need the two center caps.

I third the 2 center caps. look @ my sig, also I have a friend that to date has been 10.18 @ 132 on the 2 center caps, he runs his car hard!
