For the guys/gals who have them, how do you like them? Street manners, idle. Who burns chips for them?? :)

I can't answer your question about manners since I don't have them, but I can answer the chip question. Eric Marshall can burn chips for 60's, I saw it on his web page when I ordered my chips.

Hope someone else chimes in on the 60's I was wondering about them as well. I think I read elsewhere the ECM did not have to be modded to run them...

60's run very nice, I've been running them about 4 months now I guess and like them much better than the 40/38 red stripes I had. Biggest difference I noticed was in normal driving when startng from a stop and going up a slight grade the red stripes would kind of hesitate or slightly bog after each gear shift and the 60's had none of that, just nice constant even acceleration after each shift. They idle very nice and run fine at WOT too. So no bad things I can tell so far. Plus I'm only driving them about 58% at 20 psi so plenty of room for whenever the heads and cam go on and the boost goes up.

I have the Mototron's and one of Eric's alky chips. They act great! Perfect on the street. They Idle and drive way better than my 009's did. I had my car up to 24 psi with alky and 93 oct....Egt's were 1600 and no kr!

I've had them since Full throttle started selling them. They cleaned up my idle and I have no complaints. I'm running a Full throttle Extender chip.

I've been running them for over a yar now, no issues. Bob Bailey, and Eric, are the two brands, I'd try.

Ditto, I like mine. I upgraded from my stock 17 year old injectors, that worked fine, but I upgraded to a MUCH larger turbo so as to not have to ask a question on this forum down the road like: "Head gasket preferences, and can JB Weld fix my broken crank?"

I also used to run the Turbotweak chip with the 60 lb'ers, until I recently bought a Trans+ with Extreme chip on special from a vendor. The turbotweak is a great chip, no stumbling, or warm up issues, etc..

If anyone needs a great chip for 60 lbs mototrons, I'm selling mine cheap. It's the latest programmable one with instructions, about 2 months old.

I love mine. I would recommend the upgrade to anyone.

Great driveability and great idle. I upgraded from Blue Tops.

I am also running one of Eric's Alky chips (TurboTweak). 25 lbs and no knock. Timing is 22/19.

I'm stuck between the 60,65's (no ECM mod) or the 75's... (that need the ECM mod) They would be feeding a PT70.

IMO, 72s, or more.
The *more* generally means elevated idle speeds.

Thou, with alky, the 60s might still be alot of fun.

I've yet to be in a car with 72s or bigger that idle as well as mine, I'm sure some are out there, just that I haven't been in one yet.
