i went to work, and left for lunch, when i got back i parked the gn in front of the shop, and when i ready to go home the car won't start, it turns over and wants to start but won't, had to floor the gas pedal to get it started for a little bit but dies, when you let go of the gas pedal, and then when you start it, after you floor it, i have to pump the gas pedal and then it starts to pop, and then dies, what gives, i check the fuel pressure and it like between 45 and 50 pounds, and when you turn the motor over, about 45 pounds,it was running fine just before i parked it, and when i was leaving to go home, just didnt want to start. i changed the module and coil, cause the module was melted, and was causing my car not to start. could it be my maf, or the connection, cam sensor, if it was the fuel filter, it would'nt have that fuel pressure hugh,

Had a 87 turbo t do that...

Sounds kinda like a bad maf. Unplug the maf and try to start it. If it starts and runs it is the maf. It puts the car in limp home mode. With the 87, I could plug the maf in and the car would pop, half fire, and wheez, but would never really run. Then one second later unplug the maf and it would start right up and run somewhat well for a car with half the vacuum lines falling apart.

Good luck,

Jerry jr.

Any progress?

Have you tried anything on the car yet? Just checking up on ya.

thanks brot, her for your help, i was pointing to the module so i sent it to advance so that it could get checked, and was bad, they checked 3 times, and they say its no good, so i got one comeing from g-body, that module is not even 4 or 5 months old, got it from g-body, and we did check the maf sensor and it good, checked fuel pressure good, ign coil brand new, changed plugs, got taylor wires, and cam sensor good, so hopefully its the module, the car been parked at my shop for 3 or 4 days, and thats my daily driver, and now have to drive the syclone till the gn is fixed, but thanks again bro!!!!:D

yep anytime

I just try to follow through on problems like this so if the issue ever comes up on one of my cars, I know what the solution was.

well i got the gn working, its was the module, but funny that it also burnt the computer too, or was the computer that burnt the module, well i just happened to have an extra computer in the shop, and the gn is up and running again, but thanks for your help, i really do appreciate it.

yep thas weird

I had a bad TCC solenoid in the trans take out the fuse in the block and the tcc grounding circuit in the ecm as well. The tcc was short circuited pretty bad I guess.
