I'm re-thinking my header exhaust system. Out from the driver's header exhaust it bends 35-degrees and merges into the passenger's side header exhaust. It' a simple type single exhaust header system.

However, what are the benefits to running a V-6 with a duel exhaust? Wouldn't that cause problems? I've read that little or no back pressure actually hurt performance on the little V-6.

Also check this out! Any modified GM G-body with an N/A and intentions on running a duel exhaust will get a kick out of this well thought out idea:

Personally I think this idea is awsome if it can hold the weight.

Can anyone help me determine if a duel exhaust will give my N/A xtra horse?

I am also building a 3.8 NA motor, been wondering about exhaust myself.

Where did you get your headers?, How much?

Also a friend of mine has that exact crossmember on his 84 cutlass. It has a chev 350 motor and a 350 trans. It is a quality piece. But I would think that it would be over kill.

I have the 2.5" atr setup on my 85 t-type, and my probably go with the same on my 86 N/A.

Just need to find where to get headers, cross over and a y-pipe.

i have a set of ceramic coated headman headers and true dual cat -true dual exhaust system with flowmasters and let me tell you its sounds just like i have a big block chevy under the hood, you could not guess its a 235 v6 buick-anyone interested in buying this exhaust let me know cause im now going to a single pipe and turbo set up. it cost me over $1000. for headers back system.
