n/l converter

[six is enough]

Just bought another Grand National, car came with a Dayco converter. Thinking of changing to a nonlock up. What changes need to be done to the 2004r transmission. Can I just cut the purple wire to bypass lockup. Car is not street driven. Thanks for any ideas.
