Need a Hot Air Turbo

I found shaft play in my stock turbo after i removed the downpipe.

Whats the biggest badest you can put in these hot airs that will still be fairly reliable and not on the brink of blowing up.

I plan to run e85

However if you haven't upgraded the fuel system (pump w/ hot wire kit), and the chip you'll want to do that so the new turbo doesn't damage your car.

I've been running one for years and it will get you plenty fast for a Hot Air car. If you want to go faster than that, you will probably be intercooler shopping.

Dont they make a TA49? I plan to run e85. Doesnt e85 make turbos spool up quicker so if i go bigger shouldnt lag too bad.

You can add a ta49 to your hot air,you just need to get a coupler welded on.the peace that goes in to the intake.

The TA 33C is a stock hot air turbo housing machined to accept the TA-49 compressor and wheel. It is slightly less efficient than a true TA-49 but it is a direct bolt on. Brad

The TA61 would be awesome but i dont think i can swing it.
