Need a "how to" on floorpans

Going to cut my donor pan for my car today, thankfully I only need the driver:smile: . The hole is pretty much in front of the seat, where your feet rest. I know i COULD just cut what I need and go, but is there actual tack welds that are visible so I can make my installation look close to factory? I've never done any metal cutting or patching and would hate to screw this up beings I'm getting it for FREE! I don't have a torch available so I was gonna use a drill for a pilot hole and cut it out with a sawsall.
