ok guys here it is i need some help quick. i noticed when looking at my fuel system that something was switched. i have instead of the AN fitted ends that screw onto the fuel line type of filter i have a small one that has the nipples on the end with some clamps. now i need to change this and everytime i go to a parts store they give me some big one with threaded ends and all so mine was changed. i had the fuel system done up at Rons Auto in NJ. for the time being can i go to a parts store and tell them to give me a nippled end fuel filter for a fuel injected car that can handle some pressure? what should i ask for i need to pick one up tongiht. any ideas on this one? thanks

Try a 95-97 Chevy Cavalier and see what it looks like. Ive been out of the GM dealership now for about 2 years but I think that it has the nipples on both ends.

im not for sure, however i think a 5.0 mustang will work for you try a 90' model.

84 CORVETTE,has the same filter as a gn but with nipples at both ends

Get a fuel filter for a 88-95 Chrysler lebaron with a 2.5 4 cyl. After around 95 they went to quick disconnects. It is about the size of a GN filter, a little shorter tho, has 2 5/16 nipples on one end. One is in the center, and one is around the outer edge, also has a mounting bracket spotwelded on. Another chrysler car might not have the bracket spot welded on, I just cant think of one right now. But that sure sounds like a Chrysler filter.

Go to Pep Boys and look at all the Purolator ones on the shelf.

They have all kinds in the proper size for mounting in the stock location.

I only busted one pipe so use hose on one end. They have them for that too. Just make sure if you have a one end of each type you get the flow in the proper direction.

Good luck. :)
