need help!!----leaking tranny fluid?????

does anyone know of a better tranny pan gasket to use??????
i'm leaking alot of fluid from around the pan area.
is it possible i have a warped pan????????
or is it coming from somewhere else?????

there are other spots that are prone to leaking.

there is the speedo cable, it goes into the driver side rear of the tranny, check that.

and check the rear transmission seal.. you can tell from that for sure.if you think the pan gasket is leaking, wipe it clean all around, start the car, put it in drive with te e-brake on and obviously something under the tires so it doesnt move.. and watch for a drip.. unless you did something to bend the pan, its probably straight.

There are severals area's it could be leaking from that are above the pan, front seal, manual shift shaft, cooler lines, speedo drive, vent tube and God forbid the case itself. You really need to clean it up and trace it down.
