Hello,
I could use some advice on alcohol injection and boost.(87GN)
I feel like a moron in this group. I've been reading alot of these posts and it seems like some of you really know these cars well. I feel even worse when I look at my scan gauge and I see the word "RETARD" looking up at me.
I dont know this system at all. I had a GN long ago but it did'nt have this.
My car has an alkycontrol super pump under the passanger headlight.
It has two ajustments under the hood. One in-line Black Knob-pull out and turn deal. And a big can off the turbo housing says "appliedtechnologies" and had a nut for increase.??
I have a scanmaster on above my radio. Showing retard? and O2 sensing? Has a mode and recall button. I can see that this must supply other information as it has several "modes"???
The alcohol pump is a "alkycontrol -super pump"???
I have small "boost control w/a test button and 1 LED light.
Also, a boost gauge on the window frame. I'ts got an LED light as well.
I think I have a basic grasp of how to run and do basic ajustments to the boost thanks to the threads here. I have scored some Meth (i love saying that) and would love to do a run but I feel I don't know enough about the mechanics. I ain't qualified to test this out and need some local help?
