that cigarette lighter idea is not bad but not a very cosmetic solution...so i brainstormed and came up w/ my own idea with no wires visible...
All you need to do is crimp and/or solder these flat pieces that will slide into the fuse panel and ALDL like a plug...they look like this(very rough) o__ the circle is the wire input and the line is the "plug" the ones i used were too wide so i had to trim them skinnier w/ some cutters....then I plugged the red wire into the Fuse panel in any spot labeled IGN...then plugged the black and orange wire(i forget the color but the wire that is not the power or ground) into the ALDL...look on the back of the ALDL plug and find the black wire..then plug the black ScanMaster wire into that spot...then find the orange wire in the ALDL and plug in the last wire.....thats it....this way i can mount my ScnMsr right next to my A-Pillar boost gauge where it should be and if i ever need to put it in another car its a matter of pulling the 3 "plugs" and plugging them in another car.....a clean install that is very easily removed...
im not the best at explaining things so i can clear anything up if it sounds confusing, but its sooooo simple....3 wires w/ 3 crimped plugs that fit into 3 slots....piece of cake
