For 2010, Gateway International Raceway in Madison, Illinois, has instituted several new options for racers and fans to rent spacious luxury suites in the track’s timing tower complex. Available for individuals or groups, tower suites can now be rented for single events, complete series or the entire season.
GIR Drag Racing Manager Rich Schaefer has revised the suite rental program with lower prices and expanded availability to offer new packages which can include VIP parking passes, catering and event tickets. As always, air conditioning and close-proximity restrooms are provided at no extra charge!
New for 2010 are single event rentals for GIR Outlaw All Stars, Championship Bracket Races, Slick Tire Thursdays, and Street Car Shootout Series races. For any single event, a suite can be rented for a price of only $500 which includes thirty (30) paid admission tickets! Enterprising organizers will quickly realize a group of thirty people can watch the races from a perfect multi-tiered vantage point in cushioned-chair, air-conditioned comfort for a little as $16.66 each! Charge $20 for each member of your group and pocket $100 for additional expenses!
Also new for the coming season are low-priced suite rentals for any GIR’s series schedules including the eight Outlaw All Stars events and the eight scheduled Championship Bracket Races. By purchasing seven events at $500, GIR will throw in the eighth rental free for a one-time price of $3500. This drops the price for a group of thirty to $14.58 for admission to every race in each series!
Individual suite rentals are also available for each of GIR’s popular Midnight Madness events for $1000 which also includes thirty (30) paid admissions. The higher price is attributed to both the increased admission price for those programs, ($15), and the damage and extra cleaning expenses which are almost guaranteed to be incurred from a Midnight Madness event crowd.
Of course, full-season suite rentals will also be available in 2010 which include access for all major events held at GIR. Economical catering prices for all rental packages will be announced soon through Ovations, the official concessionaire of GIR.
