New Calif Evap system smog test

Since this went into effect Dec 1, 2007 how many on here have had their vacuum line broken by the crimp pliers used in this new test.

At this time I know of 3 firebirds that have suffered this fate.

I suggest that everyone who experiences a broken line write their CA State reps and the BAR.
The BAR web site admits that this test will do "minimal" damage to the vehicle

Any details on the new test. I should be getting mine in the mail in the next month. I'm getting ready to buy a new cam, and don't want to screw myself.

Yeah, seriously. Major heat could be brought your way. Like thousands of dollars and possible jail time. I'd ask to have this thread removed if I were you.
