Hi guys I purchased a new Toshiba lap top and I'd like to run Turbolink on it. The problem I'm having is the new lap top doesn't have any serial ports just USB ports. Does anybody have any idea how to get Turbolink to run with just using a USB connector? I've tried asking Ken but have had no success going this route. Thanks.

I've used a USB adaptor on my laptop for Turbolink with no problems (except when the port was turned "off" ;) ).

Thanks lburou for the reply, I know the ports aren't turned off. Where did you purchase your USB cable from (or adaptor) and did you need to install any drivers for it? The cable I'm using has a USB on one end and a Male DB9 on the other end. This way Turbolink plugs into that end but the computer can't see it. Thanks again.

I got the USB connector from Mototron. The original 4.0 version needed a driver. The new 4.0.5 didn't (that was, after the port was turned on ;) ).

Which version are you using? Jason, at Mototron, talked me through download of a driver from the Turbolink site. :)
