Well lets see, I jumped into this world of turbo buicks recently and have a few issues. I will start with the low oil pressure. WhenI start the car it has 80+ PSI but after driving and engine temp is upto 160deg oil pressure gets down to ~8 PSI at idle. Is this even close to "ok"? I would think that it should have at least 20 PSI. I have about 20-25 Psi oil pressure at 35 MPH in 3rd gear, seems way too low. however, when fully floored there is more pressure the more the RPMs go up. I think there is a kennebelle pressure booster deal on oil pump judging from receipts that were giving to me when the car was purchased. What should be done at this point? I would hate to burn up this motor just the previous owner said "It's not about the pressure, it's about the volume.". As far as I know, if you gobs of volume it does no good if ya don't have the pressure to pump it to where its needed. Does this make any sense at all?
