new to tr's need some info

Hi, I am about to purchase an '84 t-type. Its been repainted and is still in pieces. It starts but won't stay running because of a fuel problem. Is there a place to start for information on it? just the basics? I plan on just getting it put back together and running for now with aspirations of getting it into the low 12's high 11's. any help would be appreciated.
