Did you build this one? I remember seeing it at the Ohio Nats in '99.

No. Heath Elmer is the 'creator'. I think the car debuted at the '99 Nats. Wish I had been there. It ran once and blew a head gasket. You can read all about it in the GMHTP May 2000.

If you or anybody has pics of it at a event..please PM me.

It is undergoing a frame off resto. These are the only pics I have on the computer..it was on the way to the resto shop.

Be sure to post pics when it is done.

I've had two El Caminos in the past, I'm thinking one of these days I might build another with a Buick motor as a daily driver.

Goth, You have 5 cars.

kenny, I've had this saved on my computer for a while.

I seen that thing on the trailer when they got there. Man was it sweet. I don't think I have any pic of ohio.

I did point Johnny Hunkins in that direction as I thought it was something special. I guess he thought so too.

TA, Looks like you pointed the right guy in the right direction. I might not have it now if it weren't for the article.

Goth, I know you're playin'. Nice to have those type of comments directed towards you. Great Country isn't it?? ;)
