Finally got around to getting a new tranny...bought the car a couple years ago and the tranny was weak at best....car has 160K on it, 2-3 was flaring bad, not very enjoyable....dropped it off at Jack Cotton's and went on vacation...came back and its like a whole different car...could have spent the money on a whole bunch of different parts but it still would have worried me every time i drove it...only problem now is that the BFG Radial T/A's are on national back order with no release date in sight, and I need 2

you could try some of BF Goodrich's drag radial's... they almost look like a normal Comp T/A radial, but the have a different wall side construction that makes them hook very well. Ive heard they grip quite well They come in 245/50-16s too
I personally use Nitto 555r drags and they grip just as good but wear alot better(13,000 miles is alot for a dr) and also come in 245/50-16s

a 245 would fit on a stock gm pretty well wouldn't it?

oh duh that was 245/50-15 not 16, sorry about that

there is always a reason to spend more money
