Is this rumor true. I was told that pre 1995 vehicles will no longer be tested as of February of 07 in Illinois. anyone?
No emissions February 07 in Illinois?

That is the new law in IL as long as you have a current pass emissions card as of Feb 2007. Thank god we do not live on the left coast. Brad

What if we don't have a pass card. I just transferred my title back to my name.

From Illinois Public Act 094-0848
(6) The following vehicles are not subject to
inspection:
(I) Vehicles operated exclusively in organized
amateur or professional sporting activities, as
defined in Section 3.310 of the Environmental
Protection Act.
(L) Vehicles of model year 1995 or earlier
that do not have an expired emissions test sticker or
certificate on February 1, 2007.
