Keep that in mind. Also note that the nominee of either party has never picked a running mate that disagrees with him on a major issue, so Kerry almost certainly will pick an anti-death penalty running mate. Just this alone should make everyone here realize that HE CAN'T WIN!

I am in favor of the death pentalty as well, wish we'd get it in MA. I think Kerry won't win for many reasons. As a senator of my state I know how much this guy really sucks. Soon everyone else will too. I suspect he will fair no better than Mike Dukakis did.

He's probably the most liberal nominee since George McGovern in '72. How he even got to the Senate is beyond me. Then again, look who Mass. other Senator is.
