i have a smc non progressive alky kit, is it worth messing with?
also where can i get instructions for it?

If you can verify the pump pressures within spec, they work well. Does yours have a pressure gauge on it that you can check with it spraying on prime? If not, you can get one from Steve at SMC. Be forewarned that new pumps for the in tank non prog units are no longer available. PM me your offline email addy if you want instructions for the SMC non prog unit.

THANKS! i have a te 62 i have read you can get away with stock intercooler using alky is this true? i dont plan on running real high boost.

A TE62 is capable of moving some decent air, so I'd think your stock IC neck may hinder flow some. If it were me, I'd at least do a Dutt. neck on it.
