Odd cam liffter install thing .

I just finished installing a SP cam and SP lifters (HT-969) . And I noticed a rather funny thing which seems odd . All the lifters are sitting basiclly flush with the lifter bores . With the exception of #1 Int and #5 Exh which are sitting about 1/4" from the top of the lifter bores . It seems odd that all the lifters on one side of the engine are completly down in the lifter bores .

rotate the motor and watch them go up and down...they are just sitting on the lobe of the cam


so your going from billet roller to sp ??

if so let me know which sp cam and how it works compared to the roller..

yep, got rid of the roller . Needed the money to redo engine . I just found it odd that no lifters were "up" on one complete side of engine .
