OEM valves, 1 or 2-piece

I have a quick question, are the OEM turbo valves 1 piece or 2-piece??? I have been told that the are 2-piece and welded where the stem intersects the backside of the valve, thanks, Steve

Two piece, the head is welded to the stem, they are friction welded under extreme pressure and temperature. The vast majority of valves, even some supposed high performance stainless valves are two piece. I use Ferrea, they only make one piece forged valves. Expensive? Yes, but it takes a lot to make them break. And their quality is second to none.
