Ok here is the deal someone told me how great the Biggie oil filter convertion is :)
So I got one, and they also were under the hood of my car when they told me about it. Now I have it and went to put it on but it would appear my car dosnt have an oil cooler???  Is this right  was it an option and if so can I buy one someplace

Any help or info would be great ;)
Thanks

I do not think that is was an option. Lots of people change radiators and then bypass the oil cooler. It seems to be an argument of wether or not it is good. If you want one then you will either have to get a new radiator to run like stock or buy an external one from someone like B&M. Whenever en engine grenades and sends metal flacks throughout the engine, a lot of debris is caught in the stock cooler. That is why a lot of people get rid of it.

Thanks agian for your help

You can still use the Biggie filter without the oil cooler.

I posted a question about a month ago as to whether it was better to have it or lose it and the results were pretty much 50/50
I removed mine because the debris thing made sense and also I figured any heat I got away from my radiator couldnt hurt. As soon as I started driving the car I saw a difference in the temp of the engine but I saw no worse oil pressure that would indicate it was getting hotter and thinning out.
Needless to say I left it off the car and aall is fine. Hope this helps.
I use a ac pf-52 filter.

Yup that is the Filter I went to the PH52 AC and I took back the Pf24 or what ever it was because I want to drive my car

Kirban will not take the biggie Fitting back because I opened it. so If anyone wants one Ill let it go for what I paid $34 shipped to you door ;)

Email me and Ill get it off right after payment to me with pay pal ;)
Thanks for all the help again guys :)
