regretfully:( , ive had to take my buick off the road. Today i started the tear down and noticed a little bit of oil in the throttle body! I dont think its supposed to be there. I dont know where its comin from???? the hose on the vacuum block that T's off and goes to the pcv and the other to the block on the pass valve cover has always looked wet with oil. I just rebuilt the turbo 2 months ago or so and I KNOW its not that. at least i hope not:D .
anyone seen this before and maybe offer some insight? the car is off the road for a while so look forward to alot more posts as i find gagged up stuff. Thanks

Its probably the pcv sucking oil, put some breathers on the valve covers , plug the vacuum block, and route the pcv valve downwards off the pcv valve:p

i have a brand new moroso breather on my drivers side valve cover. the old one was soaked in oil also. I replaced it like 5 months ago. When you say route it downward what do you mean?? plug the line from pcv to vac block, and then....??

Then let the pcv valve vent to atmosphere : attach a tube to the pcv valve and route it downwards.

Before I changed my oil fill tube to a breather, I had the original one with the vacume tube going to the intake and I had oil all in the intake tube and throttle body. Now that I have changed it out and capped the intake tube, I haven't seen any.

Does venting the pcv to atmosphere hurt performance or give it a rough idle?

i was out lookin at the mess i got, and noticed that the line from the pcv tees off right before the TB. This other line runs over to the bracket mounted on the drivers side valve cover. If i do how you say, what do I hook this line to? Just run it to the port i took the pcv line off of? What is this item called? THANKS for the replies.

I believe it goes to the waste gate solenoid , and yes just run it to the vac block on the throttle body as it was and you will be fine.
