i'm going to tell you my experience with old buick parts. i bought the carpet, and a power steering cap. the carpet was cheap and had the heel pad sticthed instead of sealed(they advertised sealed), and the power sterring cap only had half of a sticker for the lettering. so i returned it, and they charged me a big restocking fee. I told him since the product wasn't as advertised, that if he charged me a fee, we would have to end our relationship then and there, which he said was fine with him. if it had been what i ordered, i would have been happy. even though the products come in boxes that say gm restoration parts, i would be very leary to ever buy from them again. i give them a big thumbs down on quality and service.

Beings I saw them for sale for 45 in the parts section I figured they were going for at least that much. I've bought from Kirban before. Turned out ok;) Just as well buy from him again!

Yes, buy the applique kit from Dennis. I got mine from him for $16.00 and it fit/matched perfectly. Just do a good job and clean the old plate up, remover all the sticky crap, get it squeaky :eek:clean. Then apply the applique. Mine now looks brand new. I got another set from Dennis to do another plate I have as a spare. He sells a great set, and a very nice low price. But, shipping applies also. Think it's around eight bucks. You won't regret the kit Dennis sells.

Wish someone did a repo that was closer to the original.
All the repop's has a brushed looking texture....I've tried the all. :(
