old school

i know alot of you guys are running the new wave of converters (9/11,9.5 etc) but i would like some input from anyone using the old school method with a modified 12" lock up converter like the orange strip for example. im wondering if it will work for me.please give me your input on this guys.and please dont try and tell me how much better the new ones are .i just want to hear from the guys that use the 12" lockups for some genuine first hand input.

I had an orange stripe for years. No complaints but lock up clutch started slipping. I went from a 1.8 60ft with 10psi launch w/stk conv and 26x10 M&H Racemasters to the time in my sig. All with stock turbo.

Sure it will work, the only ? is for how long, try searching for info on it on here there is much already said. Good luck.
