original engine paint?

Is there an original engine paint colour for the Buick 4.1? Mine appears to have some kind of blue for the block, and I have no idea what the valve covers looked like.

I still have not decided if I want to go original colour or not. It's either that, or something lighter coloured, or OD like the rest of the Willys.

i think it is gm blue. DE 1608 General Motors Blue

Thanks for the link. The Engine Enamel....does it stand up to the heat of the engine? I kind of figured I would be looking for a high heat type, but the GM blue doesn't come in that colour.

Regardless, that must be the correct paint code, so thanks.

The Engine Enamel does hold up i think duplicolor makes it just check your parts store.
