output shaft and ring gear play?

When my 200 4r trans is fresh from being built, the output shaft has slop in it but the driveshaft yoke takes all that up as it rides in a bushing in the tail of the case.

not in the case out of the case is the ring gear and output shaft supposed to have alittle play?
