i have a 87 gn ta49 turbo upgraded fuel pump/regulator 44lb inj with the stock boost guage. at very high rpms(above 4700) the car starts to sputter and my boost guage reads full. i dont know if i am over boosting or if there is not enough fuel pressure???? my wastegate has a threaded rod on it so i guess its adjustable. helppp:confused:  :(

Why dont you have an aftermarket boost gauge? Stock one is very unreliable. Until you get one, turn the boost down by lengthening the wastegate actuator rod until the problem stops. You also might want to get a fuel pressure gauge to tape on to your windshield to verify that fuel pressure is keeping up with boost (should be rising). Too much boost or not enough fuel? Either way youre engine is in serious danger.

Might be bouncing off of the rev limiter depending on what the chip is set for.
