painting alum. heads & front cover

thinking of painting them black..to match the block.. anybody else done it, and how did you like it? my alum. is getting quite dingy looking ..trying to spruce things up.

Aluminum heads? I wouldn't paint them black. But to each is own.... I would ceramic coat them. However, you will have to remove them to do so. I ceramic coated my headers, cross over pipe and dp after I did all the modifications to my external waste gate. Turned out beautiful..... Will always look clean and it helps a little with the keeping the heat down. The stainless steel doesn't rust but it will turn a light brown from the heat. Highly recommend it.
