I purchased my car in 1990 and while I have reached 48,000 miles, with the exception of the monthly drive when weather permits, for the past several years it generally sits in the garage. I do look in every month, throw a hundred dollars at it and close the door. For example, even though the car has been garaged its entire life, last summer I found the headliner hanging down (as a bonus, the shop that installed the new headliner found a copy of the 6/23/87 Flint Assembly Daily News above the headliner). Each month Dennis Kirban sends out information which includes more parts that are no longer available. Thoughout the years I collected NOS sensors/powermaster/etc. parts and anything that might fail-I even picked up a NOS GNX turbo. Now I read an article which indicated all the door/truck gaskets are/will be rotting away. What else should I be aquiring now to prevent having to modify/compromise with a less effective aftermarket replacement?
