pink wire

I am checking all the wire for voltage to try to find my problem. There is two red wires at the starter that go to three red wire to the harness, and one pink wire that is hooked up to the same spot but runs to the harness by its self, i have no voltage at this pink wire with the key on or off. Does any one know what this pink wire is for or what it go's to. Should i have voltage to it.

please help iam trying to get to trhe track this week end.

Starter Wires

The purple (possibly a little faded) wire hopefully has a smaller terminal on it. The fusible links (two red wires) have the larger terminal like the battery cable.

The purple wire only has power when you turn the key to the start position to energize the starter solenoid.
