Political crap

Gotta vent here a little............
Is this a freaking automotive board or a poltical board. Getting tired of seeing certain board members posting over and over again on the "Political Views" forums...........I'm sure you guys can get better debates, if that's what you are looking for, from other boards on the net that support these kinds of discussions. I think most of us here are gear heads, not political analysts, so why bother? Don't you think your points you post will be better challenged on a political debate site????? Don't mind it every now and then but enough is enough already!

I can agree. I'm not into politics. As far as I am concerned, all politicians do is feed you what you want to hear just to get themselves in office, then once in they do a complete 180.

I agree and are led to feel that many, many posters on the political forum probably don't even have running turbo Buicks. There really is no objective discussions of politics there, just polarizing unyielding opinions. All that is wrong in politics today is in there.. no compromise, no open minded listening to other views, and no unity... just slamming anyone with differing views. I wish there was a way that political rants did not show up when you click "new posts" like they did on V8buick.com.

Like the guy previously stated, when you click "New Posts" there they are....you don't have to go into the forum.......

HEY MODERATORS !!!!!!!!!!!!! Here's a good suggestion.....why not force people to go to the "Political Views" folder to see the politcal crap instead of showing all of the new posts under "New Posts"????? We're not even close to the election yet and the posting is already ridiculous in the "Political Views" forum.......I would personally like to log on and see actual CAR RELATED THREADS instead of having to page through 2-3 pages of new posts of nothing but political views and links that someone keeps posting, contributing nothing to our website here............

I don't either, but the posts still show in the "New Posts" option when you select it........this morning at 5:15 there were many, many posts of nothing but "Political Views"...........

OK, what don't you guys understand here???? I am not going there!!!!!!! I am seeing all of the post "headers" popping up under the "NEW POSTS" option, that's what I am talking about. I am not going in the actual forum and looking.......geesh, I feel like I am having to explain myself to a couple of 5 year olds.........:biggrin:

maybe we could move this to the political board.....just because we own Buick's does not mean we don't have views on Politics...no matter how skewed or one sided you might think they are....try not hitting the new posts tab and scrolling thru the main menu....just like with TV if you don't like the channel change it......you by making the first post created a Political Statement by wanting change...politics does not have to always be about govenment....

Go to the forums you need to see it's really easy. :smile:
