Who makes the best poly front end kit and can you get different colors.

Colors ...I can't help you. However I put a whole new polbushing set up in my 153,000 Limited. Also KYB shocks.

Man it rides and handles better than my 2,145 ORG MI. GN.
Thought it had 2,400

Rob6, which kit did you put on?

Anyone use those poly-graphite bushings from pst? Does the graphite impregnation really stop the squeaks?

I would either go with the pst stuff myself. I did see a post the other day that suggested that moog had oem replacements, but I don't know why you would replace them with OEM unless you were trying to stay original equipment.

I had energy suspension bushings in my frontend. I just went back to stock, couldn't take the sqeaking. The first 6 months were fine but after the winter it got bad. I didn't wnat to lay under the car every couple weks to lube bushings. I put new shocks on before the bushings and it helped the ride. When the bushings went on it wasn't that much better. I'll give some ahndling up for a quiet ride.

I can't wait to get mine out of there. I'd rather go back with stock rubber bushing then use another set of FREE poly.

They "WILL" squeak eventually and it will drive you crazy. Mine lasted for ~3 months before the squeaks showed up. That's about when the rainy season hit here too.

Once that magical grease is gone, forgetaboutit!!!

They are not more heat resistant as I thought they would be either. The pass side upper got torched by the 3" TH and turned into a hairball after ~7 months. Gladly replaced it with a rubber stock bushing and that was 3+ yrs ago.

I plan to give Globe West Del-a-lum bushings a try. At lest you can lube them if they dry up. Try that with poly replacement bushing.

Just another happy customers opinion.

I have some red poly something or other s in my vette......and they squeked for years........probably took them around 5 years to stop.......

Im looking for a front end "kit" for my 64 elcamino now since the drunk uninsured ass hit me...........I also need a replacement upper and lower a arm for the driver side.....It looks loike the rotor and caliper are ok......

What about the stocker stuff......greased roller bearing for quick action? Something like that......

I used the whole complete kit can get you the number if you want.
Came with sway bars..Because after 153,000 my front sway bar had come unhooked.

I wouldn't push any one. Just give another side to what it has done for me. By the way I don't do alot of rain driving....NY is in a
Rainless situation.............Was just trying to help. I would listen to anyone trying to help.. Just my .02 cents

poly sucks, they squeak and bind. Thats why manufacturers dont use them. you want the real deal? Call global west. There del aluminum bushings last forever. dont squeak, and dont BIND.
