This is just a shot in the dark cuz I know a few guys here have old Pontiacs. Im going with an LS1 in my 67 GTO now so I have a few things I need to unload to get things moving. Edelbrock 72cc aluminum heads installed but never run, matching edelbrock intake, Scorpion Roller Rockers, Headman jet hot coated headers (for the 67 model year with the above heads) March Performance Pullies, Demon 750 double pumper(that was put on my buddys car and has 4 track passes on it) Also have a rebuilt 400 turbo never run with a 3200 convertor. High output distributor for a Pontiac 400 (thats also new in the box from Summit). The short block all these parts are for is nothing special---stock crank, rods, and trw pistons. It does have a .253 .253 duration at .50 comp magnum hydraulic cam. Never started this motor. (I got the turbo buick disease ;) ) My cell is 708-670-8981 if U have any questions. I will be fair on pricing especially if someone takes a bunch of stuff. The motor is together right now, but not for long.

So from what I see, the Heads are for a Pontiac Block and not a BBC??

Hey Gary I have a buddy who's bigtime into Pontiacs, I'll let him know you have this stuff for sale. I love my old Poncho too but mine is bone stock and staying that way;)

how much are you looking to get for the heads and the March pulley set? I might be interested.

Thanx

Im itching for a lil LS1 power and driveability--These Buicks have spoiled me. I actually considered putting the motor fron the TType into the Goat but that was shot down the Dr. .

Much as I love the buicks there is NO way I would butcher a 67 GTO by taking out the poncho motor man! Turbo that one if you want to see some awesome power output. Just look around, I seen one built a while back, 400 poncho block with twins on it. 1200 HP and could still be driven on the street! Daniel Ray

I agree to an extent...

This car was bought new by my father and his name is still on the title (the wife will never get it this way) anyway the old man sold the numbers matching block back in the 70s when he got layed off, so since I dont have the original block, it makes this powertrain swap easier to handle. The other factor is that the old man himself has been telling me to put a small block Chevy in it for years. Who knows maybe one day I will do an original restoration. It wont be that difficult---just a lot of money.

Chevy not that is just a sick idea lol YUCK. Let me know if you change your mind, I have several 400 pontiac motors here that I would be glad to hook you up with cheap. If not then good luck on the buick implant, just me but I couldn't do it lol. I love the sound of a hot pontiac motor and they make a ton of torque. Daniel Ray

Hers a few prices

Canton Oil Pan w/ windage tray, dipstick and pickup 200.00 (345.00 new). March Serpentine pulley and brackets 500.00 (645.00 new). Edelbrock heads 1,550.00 (1,800.00 in Summit). Edelbrock RPM intake 150.00 (205.00 new). Hedman Jet hot coated headers for Edelbrock heads 500.00 (700.69 new). Mini starter, High output HEI distributor 100.00 each. Cant find the price on the Demon 750 Dbl pumper but I remember it being around 500.00. So maybe 400.00 on that if I'm right. Short block I will let go for 700.00 (The cam and lifters alone were 270.00 new). The bill was well over 1,000.00, and the 400 turbo trans with the convertor will be 450.00. If someone takes all of this stuff at once the prices will be adjusted. Most prices are negotiable, dont hesitate to call. Thanx. Man this car was a money pit---I thought the Buick was bad

Joshi has first dibs...

Hes been running his mouth, he said hes gonna split ur wig wide open no matter how many cubic inches ur stroker motor is. He further went on to say that it really comes downto whoever is the better driver, and he feels hes got u beat there too! By the way I saw Surej walking out of Integrity on Cicero with a box of diamond pistons but the box seemed a lil too big to be for a V6. "Im not sayin, I'm just sayin ...u know what I'm sayin."

Painting a car doesnt make it a 10sec car. And we know what the motor did in your car soooooooo IM not worried!!

As far as Surej I think he is to busy making a surround sound projector screen in his car so it will be a while for him to get his car done!!

Im just saying what your not saying!!!
