Port matched DP gasket?

Is it possible to trim a RJC exhaust DP gasket to match the exhaust outlet on the turbo? My TE45a has an exhaust hole about 1/8th inch larger or more all the way around the gasket. I would think this would hinder performance. The wastegate hole is perfect. I slapped it on right now with no gasket, but it is leaking badly, well, the gallons of unburnt fuel from some other problem is leaking badly

I tried cutting it with wire cutters but it is tough going.

How about a scroll saw...with a fine blade...diamond or some sort of grit coating would seem to be best.

Depending on the material I would clamp down some flat material around the hole and use a die grinder/carbide bit. Worked good for mine.

Good idea, put it in a vise and put a cutting wheel on it in small sections to not bend/break it. Thanks I'll give that a try.
