Ported Heads

When my heads were sent to get port and polished i didnt upsize the valves, just had the intake ports opened up and the intake opened up to match. Was wondering if i cut myself short by not upsizing the valves.

Not much. You'd gain .06" on the intake: 1.71" stock to 1.77".
Exhaust valve stays the same size at 1.50".
That said, every little bit helps.

You can compensate with a couple extra pounds of boost.
