power seat track

was there a design change from 86 to 87, I have two seat tracks one has a wide mount that mounts to the seat and the other has a thinner mount. Trying to figure out what I have .

The 86 power seat track has 1 motor and a "transmission" that controls the movement. The 87 track has 3 motors, it is a much better design. On my 86 I swapped the 87 track on it and it worked fine. I don't recall the tracks being all that different (wide/thin)

TType85 Thank you for the info I didn't understand what you were saying until I went out to take another look at the seat. Thank you for the idea I am going to try taking the seat apart and switch parts.

The ones with the yellow couplers are for bucket. The ones with blue couplers are for the 60/40 split seats that were powered.
