When I went to run the windows on my car today, the pass side worked fine, but the drivers didn't budge. When I hit the switch for the drivers window the motor almost dies and all the lights dim.

What can I do to fix this??

Thanks!

windows

You will have to troubleshoot it. If the lights dim you are drawing high current persumably through the window drive motor. First check to ensure the window isn't bound and its the motor drawing the current but unable to budge the glass. Next part is ugly have to remove the door panels and see if the quadrant is free (no debris in the teeth). Next I would say disconnect the mechanicals and see if the motor will run If not you will have to drill out the rivets, remove the motor and replace it :( Hope not.
Be careful if you have to disconnect the window from the mechanical stuff that glass is heavy and you can hurt yourself if not careful.
