Howzit everyone,

Can anyone recommend a powerchip for my non-intercooled '84 GN?

There is not much out there. You can probally give Joe L. at Precision Turbo a call and see if he can burn one for you. There is also guys like Jay Carter and Jim Testa that burn chips but not too shure they can burn for a Hot Air Buick.

Maybe Chris might have some chips. I have a Kenne-Bell chip but too much boost for 92 unleaded. You will also need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator if you do any changes in timming and boost.

You could try to make your wastegate adjustabe so you can crank in a few more pounds of boost.

Chips!

I have two chips....but you would need to buy some 40# injectors to run them.....
One is a 93 octance PTE chip
The second one is a RACE chip....don't know much about them because I never got to use....they do work though....I am willing to sell them.
Don't know if this will help you.

I dont have any chips :o I have the Kenne Bell one too (but thats going with car to the new owner tomorrow (8/9/03):(. I have a Casper's wiring kit and IAT sensor, both new and unused. All you need is a 86/87 ECM and MAF. I also have the 92 Thrasher chip w/anti theft for stock to 30lb injectors but you need to convert ECM. Ask either Geoff or Guy to lend you theirs...you'll have to replace the one they lent you though. or just buy one from Red Regal T in the parts for sale section. cheap...$69 w/o shipping though. just add $10 to get priority mail and it'll get to you within 5 days upon DiCarlo recieving payment. you can prolly find one on he parts fs section or buy a reman from checkers. beware though...reman ones often times crap out. or you can go overkill and buy the MAF Trans Plus and use the LT1 3" MAF. Good stuff...Guy likes it a lot. :D

If you wanna buy them all, $40 for all.
go to www.casperselectronics.com and price the items described. I bought the thrasher chip off a forum member from the mainland for $15. you'll see you're getting a good deal. :)
