Powerglide questions

can i bring this old post back to the front for a while?

I'm looking for any information on the bop patterened powerglide that was offered by gm.

we race on a dirt circle track, currently using a chevrolet engine and a chevrolet powerglide. next season we are going to try different "flavors" of engines - buick, olds, pontiac (not in that order).

insted of using an adaptor plate to mate the bop engines to the powerglide case, i would like to find a bop powerglide or possiably a universal case if one exists.

lastly if noting can be found by this spring, would it be possiable to weld a universal bellhousing to the powerglide case. i have a universal flange i cut off a 200-4r sitting here waiting for a powerglide case.

for what its worth we get 200 for that case if you need one.its a multipattern just like a 2004r.as far as the ultra bells we use them on a regular basis and never have problems.i believe this bull**** was started by an engineer at gm named russ abrams and now everyone believes it.we do dial them in but this was after 3 years of using them.russ abrams you better stick to superstock ,and when you get free parts from people like you did from me you should return the favor,and not by not returning back phone calls.
