Looking for recommendations for a tablet that I can use solely for Powerlogging. I know it has to have the Windows Op System on it, and from my understanding it needs to have the full system on it - not the Windows RT. Am I right on this?
Is anyone using a Toshiba Encore 2 with their PL?
What about an Asus Transformer T100TF?

Looks like you can pick one up used and refurbished for less than $100 but I wanted to see if anyone is using one and if there was any issues with either one running PL?

Thanks for any input you can provide.

There is a Dell that Scot W. talked about in his post on the powerlogger dashboard. I think it is in the new productions section.

I did see that one and it is a sweet possibility. That system still has it's challenges though, mainly for a rarely driven car the battery on the tablet will be dead. Right now I'm just looking for a cheap tablet that is simple to set up just to PL.

I had some cheap ass 8" tablet that ran windows 8. I never got to try the Powerlogger on it. I dropped it and broke the screen days after I got it. There were no places that stocked the screen for it so I junked it. Another option is the small notebooks. Just as useful and sturdier than a tablet.

Pronto-that stinks man. I like tablets over notebooks so am looking to go that route. But thanks!

Don't buy a $100 tablet. Make sure there are replacement screens for it.

Not too worried about replacement screens for a tablet. Never broken or cracked one yet. Anyone have some recommendations on a specific tablet?

I just meant to use the tablet he listed for the dash. Not that you had to install it in the dash.
