Both can be ordered with either a .63 or .85 AR turbine housing. The 6262 has the smaller lighter turbine.
 
You can have an outside source machine a garrett .63 to fit on either wheel....Is that better.
 
I wouldn't put the Garrett .63 on a 6265. That small ex housing is for 49/44 or smaller imo.

I'd rather have a BB 6265/66 and use the bigger PTE .63 (larger the Garrett)

The BB will spool faster and have the ability to make more power with the bigger a/r PTE .63 So you have the best of both worlds.

Just my opinion.

the Garrett / Airesearch covers are no longer available for the PT&E.
I'm planning on going to a PT&E 6262 DBB if i go at all.
I'm looking for good low end RWHP & RWTQ over top end performance.
Just put some Mickey Stickies on it and I love them.
